I wanted to take a moment to talk up my friend and fellow energy activist Steve Mellinger, and his firm Blue Moon Enterprises. He is at the forefront of the energy-efficiency market here in SE PA. Right now, with energy-efficient gov’t grants on the rise and the cost per KW coming down (albeit too slowly) solar is looking better and better. Steve can consult on your proposed project and give you an idea of whether it’s worth your time to invest in solar.
Also, Steve is an expert in the field of LED lighting, and has done work for Lancaster City and private customers across the region. You can see his handiwork at the Grant St. mural in downtown Lancaster, if you’re interested. He builds his own custom light sets on a client-by-client basis. Good stuff!
