Have you ever noticed that the sunday news real estate section doesn’t really say anything? Every week, week after week, it’s just one big ad for whichever developer is buying the front page. What bugs me is that it masquerades as an actual news story. If it wasn’t for Dulley (who is syndicated) there’d be zero content worth reading. Given the massive amounts of real estate news that is out there on any given day, I’m surprised that the paper doesn’t at least reprint an article a week. There’s a lot of good info to help home buyers and sellers, none of which seems to be newsworthy to the editors. I guess I’m asking too much, the RE section will always just be another ad section. If they were interested, I’d be happy to write a weekly “local real estate news” column for them.
