Long & Foster has come out with a service program for the servants of our communities. I like it. Basically, they are offering significant advantages in the mortgage and title phases of the transaction – like easy qualifying, up to 100% financing with 4% seller assist possible (which is very high), a $500 instant rebate for title costs, and easier terms for the borrower. Also, there are discounts on moving boxes, storage and other moving services through L&F’s “home service connection” operation which covers all of the mid-Atlantic. If you’re a teacher, nurse, EMT, firefighter, police officer, active duty or up to 2yrs retired military, and other certified public servants then there is finally a program just for you! As an agent I’m pretty impressed at the level of effort L&F put into organizing this.
