New life in the market?

Posted: March 1st, 2007

The snow is starting to melt as March kicks off with warmer weather in Lancaster County, for which everybody is fairly happy. February was a cold month, not just outside but also in the home market. The good news is that the calls are starting to come in, indicating that activity levels are on the rise. Good news for sellers who’ve been watching their listing sit…338 homes closed in February as opposed to 340 in January. Everyone in the industry is looking to the spring to rescue the market from the doldrums that gripped things in the fall. If you are shopping, right now is a good time to make offers on homes and keep an eye out for fresh listings. If you are a seller, try to hold on until the weather breaks!
